Efterklang show in Gothenburg 16 February. For the 4th time I got to see these lovely Danes perform, this time in my hometown. The 3-piece brought along three talented musicians which was perfect for the small venue. The concerts was of course great (they just never disappoint). I took a whole lot of photos so here are just some of them. I also took a group photo of the band that I’ll post another day. Visit the band’s website at www.efterklang.net.
On camera. A South Korean model is being interviewed backstage at Seoul Fashion Week 2009. I rarely visit fashion shows but I got an opportunity to see some in Seoul a few years ago, and even get in behind the curtains where I took some photos backstage before the models got out on the runway. Unfortunately I only had a Canon 400D and a 50mm f/1.4 lens with me (so things looked quite tiny) but I happily fired away among the other photographers with much more equipment. I have a whole set of images from this event on my website. Check it out at eriksellgren.com.
Date. On a pier in the Financial District, Manhattan, NYC in February 2012. Brooklyn Heights can be seen on the other side of East River.
Manhattan from above. Some photos from a trip to New York City in 2010.
Swedish frost. Mölndal, Sweden. It’s been pretty cold in Gothenburg lately, with temperatures falling to around -15 °C (5 °F). I never upload photos to my blog taken with my iPhone camera but this is an exception, cause it turned out quite alright.
Observing the observer. A group of old Korean men (Ajoshi) playing a traditional board game and a young girl taking notes outside Tapgol Park in Seoul. I don’t know why. Maybe she’s an anthropologist. South Korea in September 2009.
